I’m Sean James — a designer, creative director, entrepreneur, and lifelong creative passionate about building brands, telling stories, and creating visuals that connect.

Originally from Kenner, Louisiana, my creative journey began with drawing, illustration, and visual storytelling. After attending St. Augustine High School, I earned my Journalism degree from the University of St. Thomas, where I worked as an award-winning editorial cartoonist. That experience shaped how I approach communication, storytelling, and the emotional impact of design.

Through Gifted Compositions, I specialize in branding, creative direction, apparel graphics, marketing visuals, digital storytelling, production design, and visual content development

I’m also the founder of dotado™ apparel, a lifestyle brand built around evolving everyday style through intentional design and elevated essentials. Beyond branding and fashion, I’m passionate about community, culture, automotive creativity, and creating experiences that bring people together through art.
